MT. HOPE CHURCH ROAD IN STAFFORD WILL CLOSE TO TRAFFIC OVERNIGHT FOR RAIL WORK
Work Dates Rescheduled for Next Week

FREDERICKSBURG – Due to weather conditions, railroad tie replacement and railroad track maintenance scheduled by CSX Corp. for this evening on Mt. Hope Church Road (Route 677) in Stafford County has been rescheduled for Sunday, March 13, and Monday, March 14.

Mt. Hope Church Road will now be closed to all traffic overnight at the railroad tracks from 8:30 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. on the evenings of Sunday, March 13, and Monday, March 14.

Emergency vehicles will be granted access to pass through the railroad work site during the closure.

Message boards have been posted in the vicinity of the project site, warning motorists and residents of the overnight closures.
