MOTORISTS SHOULD EXPECT DELAYS ON LANSDOWNE ROAD
VDOT crews to address drainage and repair failing slope
FREDERICKSBURG – Beginning Monday, May 16, motorists will be restricted to one lane on Lansdowne Road in Spotsylvania County while crews from the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) work to address a drainage issue and repair a failing slope.
One lane will be closed between the entrance to Kaeser Compressors and the entrance to Parkwood Subdivision at Teton Drive.
The lane closure will be in place Monday – Friday, 6 a.m. – 6 p.m. through Friday, June 3, weather permitting.
To avoid delays motorists should use Route 2 or Lee Drive as alternate routes.
