CSX CORP. WORK WILL CLOSE SEVERAL ROADS IN STAFFORD COUNTY ON WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY
Emergency Vehicles Will Be Granted Access During Overnight Closures
FREDERICKSBURG – Railroad tie replacement and railroad track maintenance scheduled by CSX Corp. will close Brent Point Road (Route 658), Arkendale Road (Route 633), and Mt. Hope Church Road (Route 677) in Stafford County this week.
Brent Point Road and Arkendale Road will be closed to all traffic at the intersection with the railroad tracks from 9 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. on the evenings of Wednesday, March 23 and Thursday, March 24.
Motorists that travel Widewater Road (Route 611), which leads to Arkendale Road, will find the Arkendale Road and Brent Point Road intersection closed during the railroad work zone hours.
Mt. Hope Church Road (Route 677) will be closed to all traffic overnight at the railroad tracks from 8:30 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 23.
Emergency vehicles will be granted access to pass through the railroad work site during the closure.
Message boards will be posted in the vicinity of the project site, warning motorists and residents of the overnight closures.
