VDOT CREWS PREPARE FOR SNOW TONIGHT
(Morning rush hour may be slippery)

FREDERICSKSBURG— Snow is in the forecast for the Fredericksburg area beginning tonight through the early morning hours on Friday.  The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) crews spent the day pre-treating the interstate and primary routes throughout the area.  Crews will remain on duty tonight through the early morning hours and are ready to respond when the snow begins to fall.

Motorists are urged to use caution and to be alert to slippery conditions, particularly on bridges, overpasses and ramps especially during the morning rush hour.

Before heading out motorists should call 511 or visit www.511virginia.org  for road condition information.
