OVERNIGHT SNOWFALL TO IMPACT MORNING COMMUTE
(VDOT crews will mobilize tonight)

FREDERICKSBURG (6 p.m.) — VDOT crews will mobilize tonight to prepare for the snow forecasted to start late tonight into the morning hours tomorrow.

When the snow begins to fall crews will be out treating the interstate with liquid calcium and applying abrasives to the primary and secondary routes.  Crews will also clear VDOT commuter lots in time for the morning rush.

Motorists are urged to use caution when leaving there neighborhoods and be alert to icy conditions especially bridges, overpasses and ramps.
