USE CAUTION IF DRIVING OVERNIGHT, EARLY THURSDAY
VDOT crews remain on duty to monitor, treat roads
CULPEPER — With temperatures near freezing and some additional precipitation in the forecast, Virginia Department of Transportation crews will stay on duty overnight and into tomorrow morning to treat slippery roads.
In VDOT’s Culpeper District, drivers will encounter clear to minor conditions, with isolated patches of snow, ice or slush remaining on secondary roads, mostly in areas of high elevation, as well as bridges, ramps and other areas prone to freezing.
Motorists are reminded to use caution when traveling tonight and early on Thanksgiving Day. Reduce speeds, allow plenty of time for the trip and pay attention to the road.
