I-64 RAMP PAVING MOVED TO SUNDAY NIGHT
Work will repair pothole damage on portion of Rt. 29 north ramp onto I-64 east
CULPEPER — Paving work on the northbound Route 29 on-ramp to Interstate 64 east in Charlottesville did not occur Thursday night as planned due to rain. The work has been rescheduled for Sunday evening beginning at 8 p.m.
A Virginia Department of Transportation contractor will mill and pave a 100-foot section of the ramp, which enters I-64 east at mile marker 118, to address extensive pothole damage. The work is expected to take up to six hours.
During that time the ramp will be narrowed and motorists are asked to reduce speed and be alert for changes to the traffic pattern. Minor delays may occur.
