Overturned tractor-trailer has been cleared from roadway

CULPEPER — Route 15/17/29 (James Madison Highway) in Fauquier County is now open following an incident involving an overturned tractor-trailer.

The incident occurred just south of Warrenton in the southbound travel lanes. The truck, which was carrying bags of compost and soil, spilled its cargo onto the roadway as it was uprighted. Crews have now offloaded the cargo and removed the truck from the roadway, and all travel lanes have been reopened.
