PAVING WORK TO OCCUR ON ROUTE 29 AT BRANCHLANDS BLVD.
Left turn lane from southbound Rt. 29 will be closed Nov. 27-28

CULPEPER — Next week the Virginia Department of Transportation will perform asphalt repairs on the Route 29 (Seminole Trail) southbound left-turn lane onto Route 1694 (Branchlands Boulevard) in Albemarle County.

The turn lane will be closed on Nov. 27 and 28 from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. while the work is completed.

Motorists should drive with caution near the work zone and watch for slow-moving construction equipment that will be entering and exiting the site.

The site also has live traffic camera images for many major highways, including Interstate 64, I-66 and Routes 29 and 250 in Central Virginia. Motorists can call 511 from any telephone in Virginia for road and traffic conditions on all major highways in the state. Call 800-367-7623 24 hours a day to report highway-related problems or request information about Virginia’s highways.
