Design public hearing December 5 for Route 604 (Aily Road) in Dickenson County
Scheduled from 5 - 7 p.m. at Ervinton Elementary School

BRISTOL - The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will hold a design public hearing next month to show plans for the proposed replacement of three pipes with a box culvert on Route 604 (Aily Road) over Lick Creek in Dickenson County.  The project is located near the intersection of Route 670.   

The public hearing will be held Thursday, December 5 from 5-7 p.m. at Ervinton Elementary School, 195 Ervinton Circle, Nora, Virginia  24272.

To give citizens more flexibility in their participation, there will be no formal presentation. Instead, citizens will be able to review maps, drawings and other materials explaining the proposed project and discuss the plans with VDOT representatives at their convenience anytime between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m

In addition to having flexibility to participate anytime between 5 and 7 p.m. December 5, citizens will have an opportunity to record verbal comments for the official record anytime during the meeting. Written comments will be accepted during the meeting or may be submitted to VDOT by December 16, 2013.
