MEDIA ADVISORY Come See VDOT’s Pothole Killer!
What/Why: VDOT has hired three “Pothole Killers” to battle potholes in Northern Virginia. Each vehicle can permanently repair up to 100 potholes a day – that’s 10 times the number of potholes a normal 4-person crew can fill.
When: Monday, March 5
Demonstration begins at 10:30 a.m.
Who: VDOT maintenance manager Todd Robson will be available for interviews.
Where: Hampton Forest Way is located off Lee Highway in Fairfax County.
Directions: From I-66, take the Fairfax County Parkway South to Route 29/Lee Highway. Turn right onto Lee Highway and left onto Hampton Forest Way. “The Pothole Killer” will be waiting at the 5300 block of Hampton Forest Way.
