VDOT Public Meeting on Regional Bikeway and Trail Network

Imagine an interconnected and seamless network of bikeways across Northern Virginia. An area where you can get out of your car and bicycle or walk from Loudoun County into Washington, D.C. as a viable means of transportation.

The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) and local juridictions have produced a plan for a network of bikeways that would allow commuters and visitors the option of biking or walking throughout the area. As the Northern Virginia Regional Bikeway and Trail Network Study nears completion, VDOT is requesting public feedback.

Comments will be compiled until October 27 and will be incorporated into the final report due out in November. The public is invited to attend any of three upcoming meetings.
