What Current VDOT Scholars Say

This program is a wonderful opportunity for anyone who’s interested in civil engineering. I am working in VDOT’s Northern Virginia District in hydraulics. I can correlate the work I’m doing here with classes I take at George Mason University, which provides me with a better understanding of the subject matter. 

I’m also becoming more familiar with VDOT’s policies and standards and how they are applied. There is no better place than VDOT to start your career.
