What Current VDOT Scholars Say

I applied for the scholarship program for two main reasons, first I am receiving paid work experience during the summer. Second, I am earning money to help pay for school. It's a win-win situation for me and for VDOT. One of my favorite things about the scholarship program is learning how VDOT is structured and how the agency operates.

Attending meetings and understanding how decisions are made provides me with a better understanding of the industry. I hope to be part of the VDOT community in the future.
