The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) provides a variety of services to ensure the safety of the traveling public on all state-maintained roads. Services include roadside assistance, road maintenance and a Customer Service Center.

Please report unsafe conditions, such as a blind or poorly marked intersection, slick or icy roads to the Customer Service Center at 800-367-7623. TTY users call 711.

The Safety Service Patrol offers roadside assistance to stranded motorists in Northern Virginia and Hampton Roads.

You can place a work request to assist VDOT in maintaining Virginia's roadways. Please submit a separate form for each request for:
