• FHWA's new WinHY-8 Culvert Analysis/Design software
  The new software may be downloaded free at the following location:

  Be sure to view the Distribution Memo and view and/or download the
  "Quick Start Guide" also available at the same location.
                     
 
• U.S. Army Corps of Engineers HEC-RAS Version 4.0
  This newest version may be downloaded at the following location:
  http://www.hec.usace.army.mil/software/hec-ras/hecras-download.html
  Be sure to download the accompanying Release Notes, User’s Manual,
  Applications Guide, & Hydraulics Reference Manual as all have to changed to reflect Version 4.0.
   
         
• U.S. Army Corps of Engineers HEC-HMS Version 3.2
  This newest version may be downloaded at the following location:
  http://www.hec.usace.army.mil/software/hec-hms/download.html. 
  Be sure to download the accompanying documentation as most has been changed to reflect Version 3.2. 
                 
 
• U.S. Geological Survey’s NSS
  This replaces their NFF package for performing peak discharge calculations for un-gaged streams. 
  It includes the latest rural regression equations for Virginia. This can be downloaded from the following location:  http://water.usgs.gov/software/NSS/.  Be sure to download the accompanying Microsoft
  ACCESS data base which is required to run NSS.  A user manual for the new software is also available.
