VDOT began its implementation of  Bentley Systems GEOPAK suite of Civil Engineering Software in April 2002.  The GEOPAK Implementation History is illustrated by timeline schedules for all phases from contract development to training.  To date 467 people have completed various GEOPAK training classes.  Classes have been offered in Road Design, Survey, Drainage, Environmental, Basic and Advanced Rebar , Plan preparation and Geotech as well as Follow-Up  training.  All nine districts have hosted several classes and over 199 state projects are currently being designed with this software.
