New OJT Job Classifications Manual Revisions – Your Feedback is Needed!

VDOT and VTCA have updated the On-the-Job Training (OJT) Manual for specific pre-approved standard job classifications for highway construction in Virginia. This was a collaborative effort between VDOT, VTCA, the U.S. Department of Labor and the Virginia Division of the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA). Representatives from these agencies as well as VTCA members participated in this process.

The updated manual should aid the construction transportation industry by expediting the approval of training programs for individuals in the pre-approved OJT classifications. Before finalizing the publications your feedback is requested. Please send your comments to Lisha Reynolds via email at by no later than Monday, May 2, 2016. The document can be access  by clicking here

Thank you in advance for your feedback.
