David Ogle is District Administrator for the Fredericksburg District of theVirginia Department of Transportation (VDOT). Fredericksburg District is a 14county area from Stafford and Spotsylvania Counties on the western end toMathews and Gloucester Counties on the East End. He has worked with local andstate government throughout his career to address maintenance needs andtransportation improvements ranging from simple intersection reconstruction tocomplex interstate projects in urban areas.

Education

A graduate of Virginia Tech with a B. S. degree in Civil Engineering;completed the AASHTO Management Institute Course at Indiana University. Duringhis 30+ years with VDOT, he served as the Assistant Resident Engineer in Warsaw,Resident Engineer in Fairfax and Manassas and District Construction Engineer inCulpeper and Northern Virginia Districts before assuming his current position.
