From Amherst and Nelson counties:
Follow Route 29 South to the Route 29 South/460 West exit towards Lynchburg. Travel approximately three miles; exit 29/460 to the right; merge left and cross two lanes of US 501 North. Turn left on Route 501 South (you will cross back over Routes 29/460) toward South Boston. The district office in on your right.
From Appomattox and Richmond:
Follow Route 460 west to Route 29/460, exit to the right at the Route 501 South/Campbell Avenue exit. Bear left at end of ramp. Cross bridge over Routes 29/460. the district office is immediately on the right.
From Roanoke:
Follow Route 460 East to the Route 501 South/Campbell Avenue exit. Turn right off exit ramp. The district office is immediately on right.
From Danville:
Follow Route 29 North to Route 29/460, exit to the right at the Route 501 South exit just past the Lynchburg Regional Airport. Go approximately three miles and take the exit onto Route 501 (South Boston). The district office is on right.

From Interstate 95 at Petersburg:
Take Route 460 West to Appomattox, then follow the directions above.
